Gunner Clayton
Family and Childhood
- Gunner has four brothers (Asher, Brody, Jackson and Monty) and one sister, Hope.
- His fraternal twin brother is Asher.
- For National Brothers Week, all of the boys and Hope spent time together.
- He's a complete pushover for Hope.
- The kids were at home one day, and Hope had her hands to her hips, "I need help straightening up the parlor and laying out food before momma's friends come over." The boys murmured distracted, on Mario Kart, on phone, on computer, so Hope went and changed the wifi password. They then starting waiting on her, hand and foot, in dire hope that she divulges the password.
- Hope is the only girl but all the Clayton boys are under her thumb. Mom cleaning house, tells Jackson to do something, he makes Gunner and Asher do it, who in turn tell Monty to do it, who then whines to mom "all of them are picking on me again" and "why can't Brody do it, he's been out all day, he should do something too" and Hope comes down the steps with a broom in hand and yells commands at them all to do things and her brothers SCRAM because Hope dotes on her brothers a lot but when she's mad RUN, Y'ALL, JUST DO THE THING.
- Like his brothers, Asher will be a little suspicious of Charlie at first but they have heard about him and know that he's a good kid who's sworn to protect Hope.
- Hope loves her brothers to bits, but has said of them: "They're all pretty I guess, but t'ain't much beyond that. I mean...they can fix a car, open jars... s'about it," she says while her brothers stare at her, acting offended. Hope says she loves them but she knows she got all the beauty and braincells in the family. Brody then commented, "That's why mom and pop named you that, I guess." with Asher adding, "You're the family's only hope." Hope told them, "Well, y'all may not be book smart but you're smart in... practical things, you know?" and Gunner grins, "Don't patronize us." Jackson points out, "What practical are you talking about. Took Asher five hours and three youtube videos to unclog the drain. You pulled out that mushroom thing and done."
